Triple Witching, Rollover and bullet Points<\/h3>\n

Heads up traders:<\/p>\n

Triple Witching is near.\u00a0For those of you trading stock index futures \u2013 any size S&P 500<\/a>, Nasdaq<\/a>, Dow Jones<\/a>, Russell 2000<\/a> \u2013 remember that this Friday at 8:30 A.M. Central Time, those contracts\u2019 December futures expire and will no longer be available for trading.\u00a0If you happen to hang on to any Dec. contracts past that time, they will automatically be offset via the cash settlement price of that contract.\u00a0For you stock index futures options traders, if you to hang on to any Dec. options, the cash settlement price will determine whether your options are in or out of the money, in which case they will either expire worthless or be instantly exercised\/assigned, valued and offset by the cash settlement price.\u00a0Stock options also expire this Friday, thus the triple witching expression (no supernatural phenomena will appear at this time).<\/p>\n

Please contact your broker if you have any questions about your positions.\u00a0And remember, the next front month for these contracts \u2013 March \u2013 is already well traded and available.<\/p>\n

A little history:<\/p>\n

Every U.S. bill bears two signatures; that of the Treasury secretary and that of the U.S. Treasurer.<\/p>\n

The first woman to sign our U.S. bank notes \u2013 as Treasury secretary \u2013 is the department\u2019s current office holder: Ms. Janet Yellen.<\/p>\n

Several women have served as U.S. Treasurer.\u00a0Georgia Neese Clark, appointed by Harry Truman, was the first woman to serve as Treasurer.\u00a0The current U.S. Treasurer is Lynn Malerba.<\/p>\n

So now, for the first time, two women will have their signatures on U.S. currency.<\/p>\n

As a member of the Mohegan Tribe (and also the tribe\u2019s chief) Ms. Malerba, is the first Native American woman to have her signature appear on U.S. money.<\/p>\n

The new bank notes will go into circulation beginning next year.<\/p>\n
